I’ve been testing out server log analysis SW; Xlogan, Weblog Expert Lite, and Weblog Explorer. I really like Xlogan (freeware!), and Weblog Explorer is kick ass (spider and full path reporting), but will cost.
I think my days of using Sexcounter are drawing to a close.
These are all destop apps used by downloading the log and running an analysis on it, as opposed to realtime - although you could DL a recent log if you are in a hurry.

I haven’t taken the thyroid medicene for awhile (bout two months now); now I’m groggy half the time. I borrowed the money so I’ll buy some tomorrow.

Hit 1300 unique yesterday. I’ve got a guy feeding me 400-500 a day, and I can only return 200-300,so I’m buying links from Adbrite. One link I bought for $1 got me 70+ hits, and another I bought for $8 has gotten me over 100 hits in two days.

So FUCK YOU again Google. I hit pause on that campaign.

I haven’t been able to wait on Blogger to login and post lately, so that explains why my august presence hasn’t been talking about how great I am over the last coupla days.

It’s amazing how much you can do when you’re not scrambling to fix problems, or when you’re worried about complete failure. I went over 1600 visitors yesterday, with 1100 unique, so pop goes that barrier, despite the trades I lost. I’ve already updated my sites, and posted to 15 picposts today.

Today’s hint for building TGP traffic, stolen outright from the Icefire board -

“With that kind of small amounts of traffic it’s not possible to set some minimum return. you will find that whatever script you use with 300 hits only you will have almost all your trades dancing all day.

If you run a TGP I suggest you to open the submission form for a month or two and have a small spot for submitted galleries at the bottom of your site (let’s say you list 50 galleries at the bottom). Then add your TGP to chameleon submitter and russian submitter and you will start getting near 500 to 1k new galleries per day. Approve everything that is a gallery and has your recip, do not even waste your time reviewing. After all if you have listed 50 galleries and they update every hour. As much a submitted gallery will last a couple of hours on your site, so even if they are cheats they will have no time to redirect. This operation sounds completely stupid, but you will geat near 250 to 2k uniques more per day from recips and search engines. You will find the recips traffic very productive, but they don’t buy, so don’t worry much about them. The SE traffic will be better, but you cannot get SE traffic without lots of links pointing to your site… and you get those links from the gallery recips for example. Also you will see your google PR to jump very fast… but don’t expect lots of google traffic. Most traffic will come from Yahoo in this case.”

In my case, this will be a new TGP, from which I will skim 50% of outs to Sex Slaves TGP

Screw it; I have gone with TTT-C for my trade script; it’s up and running. I lost about 5 trades worth about 180/day in traffic during this ordeal.

And I’m still hovering at the 1k mark.

I’ll go into more detail later, I’m so far behind on other things, I’ll never catch up.

I’m pushing 1k unique again, and I’m clawing onto that number like a Democrat does to poorly told lies !!

I’ve been working with CJOverkill since Sunday - both adding trades and trying to get my skim set correctly.

I know that the problem is in my formatting - just don’t know where. I make my site go -BOOM- yesterday, but I got it fixed.

Half of my trades are counting INs - any trades I’ve added since aren’t showing up. BUT the main thing I need, setting forces, and showing OUTs. That’s what’s working, and that’s what I need to work. I can check via Sexcounter for actual hits IN.

( and of course, Sexcounter did an upgrade for a coupla hours earlier - and I was blind again - my free counters are going to provide an ongoing laff track).

So right now I’m researching PHP includes to see if my include placement is causing the screwup; or if the XML bits and pieces strewn around are causing it.

Then I get to test my formatting to get the skim parameters right. I can send hits directly to my OUT.PHP, but can’t get it to recognize any skim variables. All hits go to trade.

In the meantime, there’s always blind links

No post today. The UT game kicked ass; another classic - shoot thru my profile to my football blog for details.

I updated my trade script to CJOverkill ( I was using it before, but details will come later); I’ve been watchin the transactions pretty closely all day. Every time I make a prediction, or an assumption as far as how trades will bounce, I have been wrong. I am hovering now at about 500 uniques, and nothing I have done has bounced me out of that. OTOH I have learned a shitload more about trading then I knew before, and I got to play with enabling PHP via .htaccess. And I know at least I am sending a better quality of traffic out to trades then before.
Masterstats went down at EXACTLY the wrong time. Without seeing where the hits were coming from ( and yes, I was using SmartTrafficTrader incorrectly, but at the time I was going to be damned if I would put another in.php on my index) I was fucked. I have seen a momentum in building traffic, and when I stopped to deal with that I lost my momentum.

Anyway, I am tired, and going to bed.

I was going to set up Epassporte to make moving money easier for some of my sponsors, but I didn’t like the Epassporte setup.

Then I started looking at trade scripts, so that I could have more control over what I was doing. Turns out I have 3 new trades; so I scoped out those sites (they looked OK) and got their traffic started.

I am hanging around 500-600 unique a day.

Then I was done.

Yesterday helped my brother move. I was able to update the TGP, and that was it.

Today my bookmarks dissapeared. Where they went I cannot say. I cannot replicate the error. I have not that play. I guess I’ll just build again. If they should dissappear. I’ll shave my head and study Zen.
