If you are going to get rich, you are going to have to work for yourself. You can have a good job, and a comfortable life, and reap the benefits of our great country in that fashion; but the existence of your job will always be at the whim of someone else, be it a company beancounter, or possibly a boss that may take an unjustified dislike to you. For most of us, this is either a fact of life, or simply an unpleasant possibility. The security of a job, even with the stated fact, still outweighs the uncertainity of self-employment.
Other then riches, other factors that might lead one to work for themselves include imcompatibilty with the work environment, an unwillingness to work and play well with others, and possibly pride. In my place it was pride. I was unwilling to take the pay for what I did, and not be accorded a position I felt my abilites suited me.
For whichever reason you take to your own devices for your future, there are many routes to choose for wealth. It is not my purpose to convince you to choose porn out of these possibilties. There are many other choices which many will feel are more moral, or less risky, or something that may not bring shame upon them. This log is suited for those that choose to follow naked people screwing in order to get rich.
The first things you need to do before commiting time and money to a porn biz is to decide whether or not you can handle it. A checklist of things to consider:
You will have to decide if you want to face the social repercussions.
Are you suited to working for yourself? Can you handle the responsibility of punching your own clock?
Can you learn the many different skills you will need to succede?
How much time do you have to put into your biz?
Are you looking for a part-time source of extra income, or looking to become rich?
Can you build the biz relationships that will make your biz more successful?
Can you recover from your first set of failures to continue to work on your biz, while your money and time are running out?
You need to start with a minimum amount of money; what do you risk?
Do you know what you expect to accomplish? Is it a reasonable expectation?
When you look over this list, and know that these things are concerns, and not reasons for stopping, then your first step will to begin your study of the porn biz. If you are going to make money off this biz, you need to understand how to do it.
